Client Project: St.Teilo's Cardiff

A wonderful success story for St. Teilo's Catholic church in Cardiff. The parish was having difficulty in finding a musician to cover the Sunday evening Mass. After discovering the Hymnal Plus HT-400, the parish decided to order the system, and a professional speaker. It was put to use for the first time in October, and the parishioners were able to engage once again in singing through Mass with music. The HT-400 was a great accompaniment, and played the hymns for the parish to follow with song.

The Hymns Played:

Entrance Hymn - God forgave my sin in Jesus Name

Offertory Hymn - All that I am, all that I do...

Following Communion -One bread, one body...

Recessional Hymn - Sing it in the valleys.

The hymns were pre-set before Mass, and required a simple operation (the push of a button) to commence each hymn. When finished, the Hymnal Plus system automatically selects the next hymn which was pre-programmed earlier, and the user simply presses start again.

When preparing the system for Mass, the operator at any time can set a future play list, select the additions (hymns) for the play list, and even change the speed, verse numbers to play, and volume for each hymn.. Once the operator is happy with the playlist, it is simply saved in readiness for the Mass.

Please note that the Hymnal Plus does not play human voices singing - it is simply a hymn player that will replicate the organ, piano, and many other instruments . The quality of the instruments played is excellent, and very impressive. The device is meant to accompany/aid the congregation whilst singing.

Solution - Camera Installation with Stream Platform

We were able to arrange the installation of a suitable camera which could be pre-programmed to start and finish. This would also pass the stream over to our preferred streaming platform. This was then embedded onto the parish website, and parishioners are delighted with the completed works.

Project: Cardiff - Virtual Switchboard

During the Synod period a project was undertaken for a parish in the Cardiff Archdiocese. We explored the feasibility of installing a virtual switchboard.

Solution - Virtual Switchboard

A virtual freephone number could be dialled.. The user would then be presented with a list of options - Dial xx to arrange a communion visit, dial xx to notify the parish about a parishioners admittance to hospital or sickness, dial xx for help and guidance about a recent bereavement, dial xx to request prayers for you, a friend or family member. The selection would be diverted to the relevant pre-programmed number; this could be any member of the parish team

Project: Divine Mercy Scotland- Digital Communications

Following the development of a new evangelisation website platform, Divine Mercy Scotland required a Digital Communication system which would provide database facilities with the ability to synergise communications, so that all of the information could be in one place.

Solution - Database with Communication and registration functionality.

We were able to configure a database system which allowed for email communications and documents to be stored, accessed and communicated to the audiences. This ensured a secure, accessible system which is able to accept registrations for events and regular communications, and at the same time be a hub for storing important data.

Whilst servicing our Church clients during the Covid-19 period, it was identified that an element of Church congregations had no access to either internet or technology.(Fr Graham - Our Lady Queen of Peace)

Solution - Dial For Mass

We were able to configure a digital system which allowed for an audio .mp3 file to be be uploaded to, on a weekly basis.

A unique telephone number was assigned to the parish, and when dialled the most recent recording of Holy Mass would begin to play over the telephone. Parishioners were delighted to have this during the difficult times.

The system is still retained by parishes for those who are unable to access the internet.

With the reduction in Mass attendees, parishes are beginning to find it difficult to have a constant organist or music ministry.

After receiving a call from a local parish priest, requesting a software solution which could be played as background music for his popular hymns, we set about exploring the possibility of developing software to accompany the congregation's singing during Holy Mass.

Solution - The Hymnal Digital Plus

We were able to find a perfect solution that had already been developed by a supplier in the UK - The Digital Hymnal Plus has been tried and tested for many years. The newer version - HT 400 has additional technology built in which allow for the unit to be operated remotely - It is the solution - ready to go. We contacted the suppliers and are now approved to supply the Digital player to out churches across the country.

This website will explain the many functions of the player. But most important is that the player contains most of the Catholic hymns that we would use for Holy Mass, in addition to thousands of other Christian Hymns.

Simply program the hymns you want to play for Mass on specific dates, when the Mass begins, the remote control can be operated by a user. Select your hymn.and it begins to play. It is an excellent accompaniment for parishioners to sing along with.

There are so many contols you can use to adjust the hymn speed and transitioning (beginning and end of Mass)

You will be amazed at what it can do.
